Events attended by large crowds, such as the public parts of a Sealed Knot event are regarded as a public area so you do not need to get the permission of everyone in a crowd shot. People in the foreground are also considered to be in a public area. All members of Hoghton's will be notified that in the normal course of Sealed Knot events photographs may be taken which would be used on the web or in other publications and/or displays. They should inform the person responsible for the relevant publication if they do not wish to appear in such photographs.
